    Having only a cursory rad-left knowledge of the ins and outs of the Palestinian revolution, this book was an incredibly informative - and depressing - read.The author is a former PLO negotiator, and Council o Foreign Relations and Institute of Strategic Sudies dude, which i take as meaning that his preference would be for some kind of neo-colonial solution. But this book is so detailed, and so thorough in its examination of the ins and outs, the external and internal factors which have both push [...]

    An extremely dense history of the PLO, the attention to minutiae and numerous acronyms made it quite difficult to read. Nonetheless, it is impeccably researched and probably the definitive work on the subject.
