It's a small but very informative book. I have 2 guinea pigs and this has been by far the most helpful book I've read. Of course, you have YouTube and forums that are specifically for guinea pigs. I recommend this book if you are starting or if you are a veteran guinea pig owner, you don't get tired of learning about them.

For a pet care book, this was extremely informative. Almost any book I've picked up on rodents (I've read ones on mice and hamsters) were short and made pet care seem easier and less time consuming. I applaud the author for pointing out the disadvantages, attention and time commitment along with the usual "yay furry" stuff.
