This story makes me wonder what event in the author’s life inspired the idea for “Kisses, Suzi.” I’m a sucker for creepy stories about machines coming to life. That’s because they usually want control of something. Or someone. I don’t suppose a GPS unit would be any different. CALCULATINGAfter all, I’m not going to come to life to be nice, right??CALCULATINGJust sitting on the dashboard, this unit, Suzi, wreaks her havoc through frighteningly personalized texts. A creepy short story where a GPS falls in love with Jimmie and decides that his girlfriend Brenda is superfluous to their relationship.Well-written, it will make you think about whether humans rely too much on technology, and where this could lead us! The story revolves around the two characters, and the author has managed to brilliantly develop their personalities, which isn't easy in a short story.

Not a new concept, technology gone sour, but well written and edited. I enjoyed it as a Halloween treat. The ending was not unpredictable but inevitable. Exquisitely appropriate horror details and the author obviously enjoys writing for a young audience with a taste for the macabre. Whether or not Suzi becomes an entity is part of the suspense. I think the graphic descriptions of blood and gore, and the eventual fate of Jimmie's girlfriend, would make a good movie.

Fun, creepy read for Halloween I fuss at my GPS many times. She takes me the long way or she talks too much or too loud. Sometimes she talks when l'm trying to hear something else. So, this story fit right in with the GPS theme. A creepy what if. This was a quick, fun read for me during this Halloween season.

Creepy but fun! This is an exciting short horror story. It's creepy but also fun.My son accused me of being a living GPS the other day - he's learning to drive.I'm going to remember this story next time he's behind the wheelThe story is well written and recommended if you enjoy horror.

A short creepy tale abouthey, no spoilers. It is creepy but it may also bring a nervous smile when you think of modern life and machines.Well-written and worth a look.
