Saint Augustine posited that there is a “god-shaped hole” in the human heart, an existential void of meaning and comfort that can only be filled by belief in a divine being. Alas, when I first encountered that metaphor, I envisioned the hole in a donut, which symbolically reverses Augustine, assigning purpose to only to t [...]

taH pagh taHbe'. ("To be or not to be" in the original Klingon)This is a fairly interesting overview of 'enlightenment' or Eastern-influenced personal philosophy. As an introductory presentation of inward vs outward views, it's a bit much.I might assume that for a more advanced 'practitioner' it's a bit mild. All is and all is not.Do or do not do.blah, blah, blah(oh, read twice once back in December 2016-January 2017 and the second this past first week of September 2017 I needed the break to 'dige [...]

I'm not rating this book because I didn't finish it. It simply didn't deliver! It never made me ponder something, or want to open my mind to new thoughtsd I never did really find out what the book was about, to the author.
